Job Purpose
The Customer Sales and Service Agent is a front-line position designed for individuals who thrive on providing exceptional customer experiences. The successful candidate will play a vital role in handling client enquiries, offering travel-related products and services, and ensuring smooth ticketing and reservation processes.
By converting customer enquiries into ticketed sales, agents will help drive revenue while maintaining the superior quality of service Arabian Adventures is known for. Whether working with retail customers, corporate clients, or government accounts, the agent’s goal is to deliver an unforgettable experience from the very first interaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver the highest standard of customer service to all clients by addressing queries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Promote dnata products, services, and loyalty programmes while providing accurate destination and product information tailored to each customer’s needs.
- Maximise sales opportunities by cross-selling and upselling auxiliary travel products to increase revenue.
- Handle reservations and issue tickets while ensuring compliance with airline rules and regulations.
- Suggest alternate routes, classes, or carriers when needed to meet client requirements and enhance sales opportunities.
- Inform customers about essential travel requirements such as passports, visas, health, and insurance.
- Maintain strong working relationships with clients and update them regularly on new products and offers.
- Adhere to internal audit standards, DSES, and AlBatross requirements, ensuring all revenue documentation is correctly reported.
- Perform airline reservation-specific tasks such as pre-flight checks, sending special service requests (VIP/CIP/UNMR/MEDA), and managing system queues effectively.
Qualifications and Skills
To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Education: Completion of 12 years of schooling or equivalent.
- Experience: At least 1 year in commercial sales, reservations, or ticketing.
- Knowledge/Skills:
- Strong geographical knowledge and numerical ability.
- Excellent interpersonal, telephone, and customer service skills.
- Familiarity with airline reservation systems and dnata Front Office system.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel).
- Languages: Strong verbal and written English is mandatory. Additional fluency in Arabic or other foreign languages will be an added advantage.
